In addition to our leadership development, The White House Project has long been a resource for journalists, businesses, academics, students, and more. From "20 Women Who Could Lead America", featured in PARADE in 1999, to Benchmarking Women's Leadership: The White House Project Report in 2009, we've provided information -- and inspiration -- for women and men across the country for more than ten years. Meet the women that lead all of us to step forward, innovate, and take action to make a lasting impact on our communities.

Tiffany Dufu, PresidentEver since she accepted the Girl of the Year Award in eighth grade, Tiffany Dufu knew that she wanted to make a profound impact. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, the daughter of a homemaker and a minister, Dufu was an early feminist who challenged the perceptions of adults around her who often insisted, “little girls can’t lead.” She knew that she needed not only to affect change, but also wanted to be public about it—so that other girls could be leaders, too. |
