IT’S NOT THE “YEAR OF THE WOMEN” THE WHITE HOUSE PROJECT TO TRAINING 30 CANDIDATES IN 15 STATES IN 2011

November 4, 2010
Election 2010 is historic because it’s not “The Year of the Women” but a wake-up call for more women to step up and run for political office.  This election season we saw an all time high with women filing to run for both the U.S. House and Senate seats.  However, November 2 did not result in more women in office.  In fact, for the first time in 30 years the U.S. will see a net loss of women’s representation due to the loss of women representatives in the House.
