Go Run

Women's Political Leadership Training

Go Run logoGo Run is a weekend long training dedicated to equipping you, the future candidate, with the skills to run and win. The training aims to demystify the political process and inspire a richly diverse group of women in to the leadership pipeline. Go Run provides the nuts and bolts of running for political office by focusing on areas like communications, fundraising, and campaigning - skills you can use in your work and in your community up to the day you decide to run!

2010 Minnesota Go Run - A BIG SUCCESS!

Our recent 2010 Go Run training attracted 120 women from 65 cities and towns across the region. We were thrilled by the enthusiasm of these women to hone their leadership skills. Minnesota’s best and brightest stars were also on hand to inspire, inform, and equip women to lead. At this Go Run, participants also formed Action Cohorts that will help them continue their networking and leadership development throughout the year. Action Cohorts formed around issues and affinities such as: sustainable agriculture, ending violence, running for office, managing campaigns, ranked choice voting, reproductive justice, redistricting, and more!
